OOzeball All-Star Game

What do Adam Sherif, Ama Appiah, Mahika Jhangiani, Bryan Kirby, Shreya Khadka, and Addie Lotito have in common?

They’re all fabulous UConn student leaders, and they’re also all playing OOzeball at 1pm this Saturday, April 27, in our All-Star game!

Stop by to check it out; spectators are encouraged, just bring your UConn ID and Spring Weekend wristband.

Want to see what all the hype is about? Spectators welcome!

Spectators are encouraged to attend this year’s OOzeball tournament, Mudvengers: OOzegame. The first games start at 9am and run continuously throughout the day (except for a short break from 1:15 – 2pm.)

Be prepared to show your Spring Weekend Wristband and UConn ID. Spectators are not allowed in the mud, but you can get a great view of the action and enjoy our vendors at the event. Hope to see you there!

A Note From Our SAA President

As another year has come and gone, our SAA is continuously growing.  Some highlights from this year’s events included the Week of Welcome Scavenger Hunt, Homecoming, Ignite Fundraising Competition, Networking Nights, CASE ASAP District Conference, Pinning Ceremony, OOzeball, and even lunch with President Susan Herbst. Not only have we expanded and improved events already, but have implemented new ideas too allowing more students to understand what the Student Alumni Association is, and continuing to keep tradition alive on our campus.

We had four graduating seniors this year- Kelly, Austin, Emily and Riley, and they will truly be missed.  They showed so much passion for our club, and allowed it to flourish.  Looking forward to the next year, I am excited for some new ideas in store.  We are adding Day Chair positions as additional leadership roles for general members, and it will be the 35th OOzeball tournament in April of 2018, so we hope to add a fun twist because of this milestone. I cannot wait to see where this next year of SAA takes all of our members!
